Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was a lot of fun. What made this Christmas so enjoyable this year was first off I wasn't so stinkin sick from pregnancy. :o) No really it was a blast. The Sunday before Christmas Brandon's family came up for church and we exchanged presents. It was alot fun and we got spoiled from them Thanks!! The next day I went shopping with my mom and Brandon was still feeling pretty sick. To explain that, a week before Christmas I was sick with a 24 hour stomach flu bug. It pretty much stunk. Than later that week Brandon started to get really sick, but his lasted longer than mine and his was worse, than a couple days after he started to get sick Sydnee got really sick. Yeah that part was not fun, but we survived and we all felt better by Christmas day that was a blessing. Ok back on track. Tuesday we went to American Falls where my amazing sister Jami lives and we enjoyed an awesome day with my side of the family except my brother Kolby which we were way bummed about and missed him a ton. We had a fun day of doing crafts, eating a way yummy dinner, caroling, acting out the birth of Jesus which was hilarious with all the young kids, opening exchanged gifts, and singing happy birthday to my wonderful SIL Bekah!. Yeah busy day, but it was awesome!! Thanks everybody for an amazing christmas this year. On Christmas day we stayed home and opened gifts as a family and loved it. Syd was finally getting the idea of what Christmas was really about. Everday night before we went to bed we would read a story that would remind us of the true meaning of Christmas which is Christ. It was truly amazing and will forever be a tradition in this family. I love Christmas and I will admit I still feel like a child on Christmas Eve. Thanks everyone who made this year amazing and truly wonderful. All the many friends and family we love you!!

Merry Christmas

Another project

I decided to make a table runner for Christmas. I kind of messed up the interfacing, but lucky for me you can't see the interfacing considering it is in the between the fabrics. I was proud of myself though for figuring it out. I got the fabric from JoAnns and I fell in love with it.

Everyday is this good

I love my boy!!

I love these pictures of Dawson. This first one was taken without a flash, but I had to post it because his face is so funny and cute. I was getting him ready for bed one night and rolled him over to rub his back to get some gas bubbles out and when I rolled him over his shirt rolled over with him. I thought he looked so cute and yes slightly foriegn, but cute.

Thank goodness Dawson was in the picture with me or else this wouldn't have made it on the blog. Smile buddy!

Syd is so funny she finds the funniest places and spots to watch tv. Maybe she was trying to tell me to do my job and fold the clothes. Either way I wouldn't have been able to do it with her cute little self in the basket.

Fun Projects

So I have decided that in order for me not eat a bunch of sweets at night before I go to bed I need to keep my hands busy so I've decided to make bows, Christmas Trees, and cute out felt for a felt Mr. Potatoes Head that I'm going to make for Sydnee for Christmas. (Pictures of that will be coming soon when I finish. I've actually made a few more since this picture, but I haven't gotten pictures of those yet.

A Turkey bow that I made for Thanksiving. It was fun making it.

The Christmas Trees that I made only took like maybe 20 minutes. So easy and so stinkin CUTE!!

Gotta love random

Syd loves to write and I mean actually write. She is so impressive, she holds the pen or pencil like an adult would and she starts to write on the line in small scribbles. She would rather do that than color in a coloring book. Yeah she is a crazy kid.

We were trying to take a picture with Sydnee and Dawson and Carter, but by that time they were all getting fussy, but hey I got a good picture of her cute hair, that stayed in until the next day and you couldn't even tell that she slept on it. It was nice I didn't have to do her hair yesterday morning.

Just a way cute picture of our very happy little guy. This is a normal look for him. He is so chill and loves to smile and laugh. We are so lucky to have him in our home!!

Cousin time is FUN time!

We love going over to American Falls to visit cousins Paige, Austin, and Bryn, and Aunt Jami and Uncle Brian. We always have so much fun when ever we go. We also love having Bryn and Dawson so close in age and as you can tell so far they love it too!

For Thanksgiving we wemt to Brandon's family's house. We had a really good time. The next day we went to Lance and Bekah's house so we could see cute little Carter, the not so little Carter anymore though. He has gotten so chunky and I love it. Can you see his double chin? SO CUTE!! We tried taking pictures of their matching shirts, but arms and hands were just more importnant to chew I guess.

Here is Dawson attacking Carters arm. Dawson will suck on and eat anything we have and oh boy is he a droller. Disgusting!! Anyway I guess he thought it was pretty good.

Rugged and Handsome and throw pretty in there too

I LOVE this picture of Dawson. I also love this onsie, my brother Keith and his beautiful wife Julie got it for Dawson and his cute little cousin Carter and I think he looks so cute in it. I tell Brandon that this onsie is the closest thing he is going to get to an elk (he didn't think that was too funny, but I crack myself up :o)

Of course one of Syd kissing Dawson. Can't have a post without one.

They are getting way too big way too fast!

Big sis. and little bro.

Not quite a smile, but close enough. Halloween is in the air!

This is Dawson's look that he has 90% of the time. Wide eyed and a look of suprise. It makes me laugh everytime.

What more can I say they are cute and they love eachother. Life is good! Love Dawson's look on this picture. "Mom!!! What's going on?!?

Random and a blessing

Dawson is such a sweet and happy little guy. He smiles whenever we walk in the room and he us doing really good on responding when we say his name. He will turn to us and try and find us. We love him SO SO SO much and are so grateful for the spirit he brings into our home!

Another picture of Dawson's blessing day. I loved his blessing outfit. My mom got it for him and he looked so handsome in it. Thanks Mom!! I am still waiting for my five generation picture with Dawson, but hopefully for not much longer.

Just a fun picture of Syd back when it was still warm. She loves her sun glasses and whenever she sees me put mine on she has to have hers on. Silly girl!

Brandon and his other love

Brandon got his buck and he is so proud of himself. I am really proud of him too because it was a pretty good size and it was fat old buck too. He has been looking at his pictures every night. It's pretty cute. We had to go and buy a chest freezer because we had no room in our freezer in the house so now we have one out in the garage and can I just say that it is such a good feeling to have plenty of hamburger. We had some last night and it's a little gamie, but really not too bad. Just put seasoning in it and your good to go. Babe I am so proud of you!

A beautiful day for a Blessing!

This last Sunday we had our amazing families come and celebrate the Blessing of our sweet and handsome little boy, Dawson. It was a beautiful and spiritual day. Brandon did an amazing job with the blessing and we loved having so many of our family there. Dawson was so good the whole day. He was awake during the blessing, but fell asleep right when I started to hold him after. I am so sad though because we took some really good pictures outside of the church with my parents, Brandon's parents, and a five generations picture with us and Dawson in his way cute blessing outfit (thanks mom, but they are all on my parents camera and Brandon's parents camera so those will be coming soon I hope! Some of these are fun picture and some are serious. Two of them are of five generations for my sister and my brother. It's pretty amazing to me that I can say there is five generations on my side of the family. Pretty cool huh? Well hope you enjoy and please don't think bad of me for not loosing my baby weight yet. j/k I am working on it! :o)
