Last night as I was giving the kids a bath I had to run out of the bathroom for seriously two seconds. On my way back to the bathroom I hear a huge scream and whine from Sydnee, which is really nothing unusual since that is her biggest thing lately (screaming and throwing fits). So I took a deep breath in and said "Syd stop screaming and what is so wrong that you had to scream over?" She yelled back "Ew gross Dawson pooped get me out! Get it away!" And sure enough there were some floaties hanging out in there. I laughed a ton and yelled for Brandon to come and see and help. We both laughed while Syd screamed and cried and Dawson just looked up with a look of innocence on his face like "What did I do?"
I grabbed Syd out of the tub, Brandon got Dawson and put him into the sink. I than grabbed all the toys and instantly put them into bleach water as Brandon of scooping out the poop from the tub. Well we drained the tub while Dawson was still in the stink being cute and still not knowing what all the commotion was all about and Syd, by this time was actually laughing with a disgusted look her face. After we were done dumping the poop into the toilet I processed to flush the toilet which is the logical thing to do right? Well with a 1 year old in the sink by the toilet with a hairspray bottle lid in his hand in a position that looks like he will launch it at anytime......yeah not a logical idea becuase just as I pushed the handle down, in goes the lid, and down goes the lid. Well lets just say that of course and that moment everyone decided that they had to go to the restroom, but oops the toilet is plugged. Well were able to hold until morning when by that time I had a genius idea. Hey why don't we use the shopvac that Brandon was borrowing from work. YAH it work!! And now we once again have a working man's toilet and our kids aren't traumitized. It was quite a night though.
