GUESS WHAT!!!???!!

To all of you who liked looking at my blog I am so so sorry that I have been a huge slacker, but I do have a great excuse. I have been very very sick lately to the point that I have had a few visits to the ER. My last visit was due to passing out and hitting my head on the wall and than the floor (I even had a black eye or a day or two). I have been feeling a little better for the past week or so because thanks to the modern day thing we call medicine. Well I have been sick now for the past 10 weeks maybe even longer. Ok so I'm not very creative lately and I have no energy, hence the words very very sick. But Sydnee is going to have a little sibling!! We are so very excited and happy to have our little family grow. We heard the heartbeat on tuesday. The doctor was very suprised that we actually heard it because according to him I was only 9 weeks along but now we are thinking we are farther along. The heartbeat was very strong so that was a great sound. I love the sound of your baby's heartbeat for the first time. I have lost 18lbs so far and my thighs finally don't touch. So apparently I need to have an eating disorder for me to be in my normal weight bracket. HAHA J/K. Anyway besides feeling like i'm dying sometimes life is going really good. We are safe and sound in Pocatello and Brandon starts school tomorrow. He's excited but pretty nervous to be starting a university, but I am so proud of him!! Syd is growing like crazy and she is a goofball. She loves giving kisses and hugs. She is such a sweet girl and I know she is going to be an awesome big sis!! Well I hope all is going well for everyone!!

Sydnee's chair and WALK!!

To watch the video just click on the picture and it will take you another window and just press play. Enjoy it's pretty cute!
One of Sydnee's favorite places to sit while watching a movie or her favorite shows is right in front of the TV on the wicker basket that has all the Ensigns and Babytalk magazines. Don't ask why because I often wonder what goes through kids minds myself. She is so silly and thinks she is so cool sitting and dancing on her "chair". She also is doing so good walking!! Thanksgiving weekend we went to Wyoming with my family and my newest very cute neice was also blessed that weekend so alot of little kids were running around. Sydnee would just watch them and observe then she decided she wanted to try what they were doing, so she stood up and walked more than she has ever walked before with no help. She was so proud of herself as were all of us. She has been able to stand up by herself in the middle of floor for a while now and she would dance and take at the most 4 steps, but than she would fall down and just crawl. So this is a big milestone for her and we are so excited!! She also has a little crush on a movie star. Yeah I know already and she is only 16 months!! I rented High School Musical 2 from the library because Sydnee loves any movie that has singing and dancing in it so I thought I would try it out. She absolutely loved it. She would stand in the middle of floor and dance everytime they would sing and dance, but when Zack the main guy character came on with his big solo she would stop dancing and just stare at him. I wish I would have gotten a video of it, but it was so cute and so funny!! Syd also LOVEs talking on the phone and I mean all the time. She takes my phone and puts it between her ear and shoulder and talks while she points at things or like she is writing something down. Well during Thanksgiving weekend she was sitting on Brandons lap and was talking on my phone. She held the phone up to Brandon's ear so he played along and started saying "Hello, oh is this Sydnee's boyfriend, Zack?" Instintly she grabbed the phone and took it away from his ear while she started talking like she was saying "you can't talk to him you werent supposed to know that was him." Brandon said it was so funny because she acted all embarrased. I wish I could have been there and witnessed it because I'm sure it was so cute. Well here are just a few of the newest and fun stories that have been happening in our lives. They may be small, but they really light up our lives and make us smile so I hope you enjoyed!

I was not disappointed

Last night Bekah and I and a couple of her friends from work went to see the Twilght Movie and let me tell you it was awesome!!! I was so excited the whole day and when it finally came time for the movie to start I thought I was going to explode! It was defiantly worth going to. There is so much I want to say about it, but I know a few of my friends wont be too happy to hear the plot of the movie before they actually go see it. But anyway if you get the chance to see it do. At first I was worried about reading the book first because you knew that they wouldn't be able to put everything from the book into the movie, but considering it was only about 1 and 45 minutes they did a pretty good job. Bekah and I wished it wouldn't end, I mean come on why can't they just make it a 12 hour movie. I also love the music that they put in there. (I might splurge and get the soundtrack, but shhhh don't tell Brandon :o) Well I guess that is all I can say about it before I tell the whole story, so go and see it!!

It may be small but.....

Brandon shot his first deer!! A few weeks ago Brandon went hunting with my Uncle Mark up close to Hailey. Here is how the story goes. Brandon got to Hailey on a Wednesday night to meet my Uncle who was already up there looking for a deer. They hunted all morning Thursday and say nothing, so they decided to pack up and search for a better hunting area. As they were driving down the road my uncle stopped and got out of the truck and started to point. Brandon of course stopped, but couldn't see anything. He got out of our little geo metro and finally saw two deer moving up the hill, but all he could really see was the white of the butt because the glare of the sun was so bad. My Uncle Mark told him that if he thought he could get it than to go ahead and take the shot. So my confident Brandon decided to take a shot and missed. Well for a second he lost the deer until he saw it run a little more up the hill, but the glare from the sun was still really bad that he had to guess where the head was by looking at the deer's butt. He steadied his gun by putting his bypod on the roof of the geo. He found where the deer's white butt was and raised the barrel of the gun just tiny bit and guessed that was where the deer's head was located and than BAM!! He shot the deer right though the back of the neck. Yep thats right he shot Bambi his first deer. He was so proud even though it was small he was on a high for days!! My Uncle was impressed that he got it because it was so hard to see. Babe I am so proud of you!!

Twilight and oh... a sexy Vampire

About a week ago Bekah shows up at my door and of course I welcome her visit because I love it when she comes over. Before she really says hi to me she said something to the effect that I am rude and mean because I wasn't answering her phone calls that day. I did not know that she was trying all day to call me so of course I apologize deeply because I love Bekah I don't want there to ever be any hard feelings between her and I. Well after she ranted on me she pulls out something from her purse and said that I might not deserve this, but because she loves me she was still going to give it to me. I kind of hesitated going near her becuase she may be tiny, but I'm sure her little fist could leave one good bruise (maybe I should ask my brother Lance because I am sure he has deserved a few here and there) :o) So I approached and she handed me the ticket and said that she bought me a ticket to the Twilight movie which is tomorrow!!! I was and still am so excited!! I of course hugged her and told her how amazing she was and still is and she than forgave me. No, she really wasn't that mean, but I'm sure that if she really was that mean than I deserve every bit of it!! Serisously I can't wait for tomorrow. We are going to have dinner at my house and than off we go to see a sexy, bloodsucking, and romantic VAMPIRE!! Thanks Bekah you are amazing and I love ya!! (And don't worry I will pay you back so don't let me forget!!) ;o)

Our Little Girl

I have been wanting to get some one year pictures of Sydnee so so bad and now that she is 15 months I think we better get moving on that. I guess we aren't too far off, atleast she is still in her first year right? Anyway, here are some that Brandon took yesterday and we are planning on getting some more done hopefully from our neighbor that is in school for photography. I hope I hope because we really need to get some good pictures done of our little girl before she changes too much. I think Brandon did a pretty good job considering he has never taken a class or lessons. Thanks babe!!!

First Diaper Cake

A couple of friends and I put on a babyshower for a friend a few weeks ago and I really wanted to do something special for her because she is a really good friend of mine. So, I wondered and pondered what I should give her. I finally realized that it's hard to shop for someone who already has most of the baby stuff, like toys, baby crib set, and I knew that everyone was going to give her clothes and blankets which is perfect because that would be what she needed. But I wanted to get her something different and than it came. I remembered that another friend of mine made a diaper cake for someone and I remembered that she put the instructions on her blog. I was so excited to do it and it was so much fun. I made a hooded towel that was really cute and used that as the middle to hold all the diapers together. I think it turned out really cute (considering it was my first one) and she loved it. It was also suprisingly inexpensive. I hope you like it too!!
