I know it's been a long time!!!

Man I am such a slacker and I know that my mom and dad have not been happy with me, but life has been crazy at times and other times I've just been lazy.
Brandon is doing really well. He just started summer classes today. He is hoping to apply for PA school this fall and get into a PA school by this time next year, so keep us in your prayers and wish us luck. Brandon is working hard at work and full filling his calling to the fullest and then some. He is such an amazing father and husband. He puts up with my craziness which I am very grateful for. I love you honey!!
I'm doing pretty well. I actually just got out of the hospital with a UTI and Kidney Stones. I had to stay in the hospital for two days becaue they didn't want the infection to get into my kidney and blood. It was extremely extremely painful and I don't wish that kind of pain upon anyone. Atleast with labor the contraction let up a little every once in a while, but with a kidney stone it was constant. HORRIBLE!! I'm doing better though, just dealing with being nauseousness and throwing up which I think is from all the drugs they gave me in the hospital. Oh well all is well now. Life is good! Make sure to scroll down to see cute pictures of the kids!!

Our Dear Sydnee

Sydnee is a feisty little drama queen in a little body. She finally hit the 26 pound mark and she is almost three. She is such a sweet and caring little girl when she wants to be or when she really just wants something. She loves her little brother, she absolutely love to dance, draw, talk on the phone, play outside, go on bike rides, play with her cousin Paige and Austin, and she loves to watch movies. She is also a very active little girl that thinks she needs everything that she wants to have. Sydnee may not be the clearest talker, but she will get her point across somehow. We are hoping that we qualify for speech therapy with Syd so she can learn to enunciate clearer. We try and try to work with her, but I think she is getting tired of mommy and daddy being the teacher. She listens better to other people anyway. She is exactly like me in the way. Which scares me because I know I was a brat. So I guess I am just getting what I had coming for me right. We love Sydnee to much and are so grateful for her and her feisty personality. She keeps us on our toes everyday, but we sure wouldn't know what to do without her.

Our Sweet Little Boy Dawson

Dawson is growing like crazy. He is learning new things everyday. He loves to watch and observe, but he is also very very busy. He loves to go for the nontoy stuff, like cords, DVDs, magazines, pictures, computer anything, and you get the idea. At his last doctors appointment he weighed 19 pounds, but I'm sure he weighs more now that he is 10 1/2 months old already. Gosh time flies with two kids. We found out that Dawson is allergic to Amoxacillin. He broke out in huge hives which was not fun nor pretty. Right after that and his ear infection he got hand, foot, and mouth disease. We were lucky however because he didn't get any sores in his mouth just a rash on his hands, legs, and feet. He is so much fun and loves his mommy. He still not sleeping through the night, but we are not feeding him at night so we just let him cry it out, but he is crying it out in our bedroom in the pack n' play because we don't him to wake up Sydnee. Oh how I can't wait for a bigger place. He is a chunk and eats anything and everything that we give to him. He loves is food! He's fun and we love him so so much!

Now Both

They love eachother so much, but it is really funny to watch how Dawson is now to the point where he tolerates Sydnee. There are sometime now that they fight over the same toy and they start to yell at eachother. It's pretty funny now, but I'm sure when words can be exchanged it's going to be pretty annoying. They are cute together though and Syd takes care of Dawson and is such little mommy to him.

Easter dress and way cute bows!

I love easter and Conference time. One because we get yummy candy that we should not have bought in the first place, but love oh so much, and two we get to stay home listen to some amazing council, eat a huge breakfast, and stay in our pjs unshowered all.....DAY......Long. It is so joyous. Well this conference I decided that I was going to get somethings done while I listened, so I made 8 ties for my little guys that I am almost done with so I will be posting them on here shortly I promise and I made some way cute bows for Syd and myself. I am so proud of myself for making these, but my back and neck are paying for it for hunching over so long. Oh well it was worth it.

Sydnee and Dawson looked oh so cute and handsome in their little Easter outfits. I made Syd's fabric bow out of the same fabric that I'm going to make myself a bag in and I made Dawson's tie. I think they looked so CUTE!!

St. Patricks Day and Easter activities

For St. Patrick's Day I invited two my neighbors and their kids over for a green breakfast. I made green french toast, green milk, one of my neighbors made green hashbrowns, and my other neighbor brought over tons of yummy dessert. It was awesome and so much fun! This will deifiantly be a tradition. Thank Stephanie, Ethan, Allison, and Sarah it was awesome!!

For Easter activities we of course dyed some eggs which Syd loved and made sugar cookies and frosted them. Sydnee was such a good little helper and she helped mommy make some yummy cookies. Some awesome friends came over to help out an join the fun. Thanks Tiffany, Kyler, Jessica, Ethan, and Baby Brycen. You guys rock!!

What Have we been up to you may ask?

My dear crazy Sydnee has been keeping us on our toes thats for sure. She is learning so much so fast and it is crazy. She weighs a whopping 25 pounds so she is still I light weight, but she sure is big to us. She is little miss mommy to Dawson and she loves it. Sometimes it is helpful, but not all the time. She is such a sweet girl and is now loving animals. We have some very very nice horses that graze right by our apartment so she absolutely loves going down that and talking to them, singing to them, and just watching them. It's fun to watch her interact with the horses. She is defiantely stubborn though. Everything has to be on her time (or so she thinks). She not always the best listener, but all in all she is such a sweet girl, that makes us laugh and so happy. She is our sweet stubborn little girl. The other day she wanted to do Dawson's hair so I quietly watched her as she gently combed and brush his hair. Well I then thought to myself "Wow she is being to gentle with him, why not go and load the dish washer". Note to self never leave a 2 1/2 year old alone with your 8 month baby boy when she has doing hair on her mind. Because all of a sudden I got this feeling to go check on the kids, because they were being a little too quiet or should I say Syd was being a little too quiet because as soon as I came around the corner Syd had this evil look in her eyes and her dull bladed scissors in her hand heading toward Dawson's hair. Luckily no one was hurt and I caught her just before she could have chopped off a chunk of my poor little guys hair. Dawson thought is was great though and let's just say that her scissors and all scissors are in a very high place that she can't get to. EVER! Syd also loves to walk around the house pantless. Don't ask me why because when I ask her why she just shruggs her shoulders and says "I cool mommy, I just cool." Need I say more? She also loves to mimmick everything and anything we say and do. Or whatever she by chance could have seen on the TV. For example, crossing of the legs; I cross my legs all the time so she thinks she has to. These next examples are not from something that we have done, but are from something that we were watching on the tv, but didn't know were on becuase she turned the tv on herself while I was taking a shower. She has picked up on smoking from her crayons. Which by the way we put a stop to it immediatly when we realized what she was doing. And last, but not least she made out with the fridge because that is was Joey and Rachel were doing on friends, so naturally she thought she would give a try with the fridge. Yeah that was pretty funny, but we also put a quick stop to that also. She is crazy, but oh so much fun!

Dawson is growing like crazy! He now weighs 18 lbs 10 oz. 27 1/4 inches long and his head circumference in 17 1/2. The doctor says he is perfectly in proporsion. He is so much fun. He loves to laugh and giggle at anyone. He hardly fusses during the day unless he is tired or hungry and mommy hasn't seen the ealier cues. He is not the best sleeper, but he is getting better. Sydnee and him have been in the same room for sleeping arrangements for awhile now and it's getting better. Dawson is not crawling yet, but he has gotten on all fours without face planting it a couple of times. He is just a lazy and chill kid and his entertainment comes to him and it's Sydnee. He talks all the time and he loves loves to eat. He will eat anything that give him. He is such a good little eater which I really hope he stays that way. He loves his big sister still. What more can we ask for we have some awesome and dang cute kids :o)

Cute hair for Valentines Day

I absolutely love having a girl that will let me do her hair. I expirament all the time on her hair and most of the time it tuns out pretty cute. This hair do was two different hair styles merged into one. If you can't tell I made hearts out of the pigtails and criss-crossed the back. I got tons of complements at church. Syd looked so beautiful with her red dress and black heart bow. It's so fun having a girl!!
