Cuddles
Dawson is such a sweet cuddley little baby boy and loves to give hugs to people especially his sister and other kids. It just melts my heart. One day Dawson woke up from his morning nap and Syd as you can tell was super tired because she just decided to lay there on the floor while I went to get Dawson from their room. I was also getting Syd ready for her nap. Anyway I got Dawson and he was still trying to wake up to I set him on the floor and he saw Sydnee and crawled over to her and just layed his sweet little head on her tummy and gave her a hug. All the while she was rubbing his back and hair. They stayed like this for about 20 minutes or so. I just sat there and hopefully like all mothers would do in this situation got teary eyed and thought to myself how grateful I am to be a mother and have an eternal family. It was just the moment I needed at that time. Even though at times I want to pull my hair out and scream into a pillow becuase I get tired and frustrated it's moments like these that take all that frustration away and reminds me how great my life really is. I have two beautiful healthy children that love eachother and loves me. I have the true gospel and belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that I know with all my heart is true. I have a husband that is a worthy priesthood holder that loves our Savior and is an amazing father and husband. I have forever friends and family that are amazing examples and strengths to me. I really have it all. And I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior have such a special plan for me and my family. I am so grateful to be alive at this time and day in age. It's moments like these that reminds me of all that I have. It's moments like these that gets me going each and every day and lets me know that I am loved!
Dawson turns 1!
Don't mind my face in this picture because to be quite honest with you I have no idea what kind of face that was. oh Well.
Dawson turned one in July. It was such a fun day. I decided to make my first fondent cake for his birthday. I had some amazing friends come over and help me which was awesome because without them I probably wouldn't have gotten everything done so thank you thank you Katie and Lindsey. The cake turned out ok for being my first time. The party was a lot of fun. We had some friends and family come to the park and we had pizza, cake, cupcakes, and icecream. Dawson I think was so full from eating a hole slice of pizza and some pasta salad that he really didn't touch his cake or icecream too much, but that's ok because it was the look on his face when that cake was put in front of him that made it all worth making. We wished my mom, dad, lance and his family, kolby and his family, and Jackson and Rachel could have been that, but we understand and missed you guys. Thanks to all those who came. I just can't believe Dawson is one and crazy as ever!
Fishing
One fun adventure that we did as a family this summer was go fishing. Brandon and I both bought fishing/hunting licenses this year. Brandon and I will be going to deer hunting this year which I am actually really excited about. We might make it an overnighter without kids so I am really excited about that. We'll see though. This kids actually did really well with the fishing adventure. Dawson was pretty tired and wanted to dive in the water and eat the fishing lure, but we decided to go against that. He's such a stinker. Sydnee was so excited to finally use the fishing pole that Grandpa Nebeker gave her for her first birthday two years ago. I can't wait to go again next year when the kids are little older and can really start to understand. It was a very fun filled day with no fish, but we got to spend it together and even had a picnic.

Funny story/chain of events!
Last night as I was giving the kids a bath I had to run out of the bathroom for seriously two seconds. On my way back to the bathroom I hear a huge scream and whine from Sydnee, which is really nothing unusual since that is her biggest thing lately (screaming and throwing fits). So I took a deep breath in and said "Syd stop screaming and what is so wrong that you had to scream over?" She yelled back "Ew gross Dawson pooped get me out! Get it away!" And sure enough there were some floaties hanging out in there. I laughed a ton and yelled for Brandon to come and see and help. We both laughed while Syd screamed and cried and Dawson just looked up with a look of innocence on his face like "What did I do?"
I grabbed Syd out of the tub, Brandon got Dawson and put him into the sink. I than grabbed all the toys and instantly put them into bleach water as Brandon of scooping out the poop from the tub. Well we drained the tub while Dawson was still in the stink being cute and still not knowing what all the commotion was all about and Syd, by this time was actually laughing with a disgusted look her face. After we were done dumping the poop into the toilet I processed to flush the toilet which is the logical thing to do right? Well with a 1 year old in the sink by the toilet with a hairspray bottle lid in his hand in a position that looks like he will launch it at anytime......yeah not a logical idea becuase just as I pushed the handle down, in goes the lid, and down goes the lid. Well lets just say that of course and that moment everyone decided that they had to go to the restroom, but oops the toilet is plugged. Well were able to hold until morning when by that time I had a genius idea. Hey why don't we use the shopvac that Brandon was borrowing from work. YAH it work!! And now we once again have a working man's toilet and our kids aren't traumitized. It was quite a night though.

4th of July weekend
Over the 4th of July my parents came down to hang out with us which was so much fun! That saturday before my sister, her family, my mom, my dad, and Brandon the kids and I all went for a hike. I was so beautiful and exactly what I needed. Thank you guys for going with us we had a blast with all of you.
Syd however refused to walk on the hike up. She was such a stinker. My mom held her for a little bit than Brandon did off and on, than finally my dad put her on his shoulders. As you can tell she loved it. it was a good thing she got down when she did because shortly after she couldn't hold her pee any longer and she refused to pee in wilderness without a toilet (which I really don't blame her) so she peed her pants. But oh well at least she told us and tried to hold it. What more can you ask of a almost 3 year that has a bladder the size of pea?
Dawson did so well on the hike. You could tell he was way sweaty and hot, but he eventually fell asleep and hardly made a peep it was so nice.
Poor little Bryn on the other hand was fighting really bad allergies. Her eyes were getting all puffy, but she was a trooper and did really well with how miserable she looked. She really didn't fuss too bad. Thanks everyone for coming and we hope that we can do a hike with the rest of the Nebeker Clan sometime soon. Miss all of you!! Love you all!

Nature is so beautiful!
I abolutely love love love the mountians and all the beauty that nature bring to life. I am so grateful for Our Heavenly Father's creations. He defiantly knew what he was doing and has a perfect plan for us here on Earth. Because there really is beauty all around us!
Our 4th Year Anniversary
It's taken me a long time to finally post this. Sorry! Our Anniversary was actually on the 30th of June. We weren't able to go out to do anything that night because Brandon had a test, a meeting, and work, so I put the kids to bed and had dinner ready for him when he got home. I also made him a candy-gram. Yes, I know way cheesy, but he liked it and we are still snacking on the candy. So that is all that matters. Since our Anniversary was on a wed. we decided to actually celebrate it on the friday after. My most amazing friend Jessica came over and stayed with the kids while they were alseep and we went out to eat and went to see the Twilight Saga, Eclispe. Which by the way we both really liked. It was awesome and I was so glad to be able to share it with Brandon. We had a nice relaxing and fun Anniversary this year. Hopefully next year I won't be pregnant and I won't be nursing to we are hoping that we get to have the kids stay the night at someone's house. We'll see though. Hopefully Dawson will finally be sleeping through the night by that time. Cross your fingers! Brandon I love you with my heart and soul. You are my true love, best friend, and eternal companion. I am so grateful to be blessed with the opportunity to spend eternity with you. I look forward and can't wait to spend many many amazing years with you! I love you and thank you for you being you!
Nails and car wash
Dawson's favorite place to play in besides the toilet and garbage cans is the cupboards. What kid doesn't like a good old cupboard with a blender that they can push the buttons. I'm just suprised that he can get in there so easily without constantly hitting his head on the top. Oh wait he does ALL the time, but that still does not stop him. Crazy kid!
We decided to wash the car one day and clean them out. Which was about time because they were looking kind of dirty and cluttered. Syd just had to help us and she did a really good job. As you can tell she was pretty proud of herself. She is getting way to big.
The other morning Syd really wanted her fingernails and toenails painted. I was busy getting ready for the day so I told her to go ask daddy and sure enough he did it. He loved it and did I pretty dang good job. I was so proud of him. Syd thought he was the coolest Dad ever doing that. The rest of the day she told people that her daddy "colored her fingers and toes!" "Look they look so pretty like a princess!" It was took cute and so fun to watch. Brandon you rock babe!
Our piano players
Dawson was cute playing the piano with his sister. I wish I would have gotten the camera sooner because everytime he would hit a key he would turn around and give me the biggest smile. He was so proud of himself that he was finally tall enough to play with Syd. Don't mind the half naked Sydnee. That is a common attire for her. Although she usually has a shirt on, but apparently she didn't think that was necissary this time around. Oh well gotta love her.

Belated Happy Birthday and Father's Day to Brandon and Daddy!
I was meaning to post this all weekend, but it was a very busy weekend for us. On friday Brandon's brother got married in the Logan Temple, it was very nice ceremony and a great reminder on the beauty and duties of marriage. Than Saturday we had Brandon's other two brothers here, so we went on a bike ride and then went to the reception in Shelley. Well Sunday rolls around and Sunday's are crazy for us anyway because Brandon has to be at the church by 7:00 a.m. so that means I have to get both kids ready and myself ready by 9:00 because church is at 9:30. We go to church than come home, but Brandon doesn't get home until 3:00 or so sometimes later, but not usually. Than by that time the kids are usually asleep for a nap or atleast Dawson is. Daddy came home and I quickly made a yummy lunch of spinach/cheese ravioli with meatballs. It was delish. Well after we ate Brandon's brother and him talked slash slept while I made the brownies that Brandon wanted. Than I came in the living room and took a tiny and I mean tiny snooze because by that time Dawson was waking up and Syd was done entertaining herselp and wanted to go outside. So, we went outside and decided to clean out the cars from our weekend adventure. All in all it was a really good day of spending time together as a family. Brandon you are an amazing and very patient father and husband. Thank you so much for all that you do for us. Thank you for respecting and loving me with all your heart. Thank you for unloading the dishwasher for me and taking care of your clothes. Thank you for always making sure there is enough gas in the car so I don't run out of gas with both kids in the car with me. Thank you for letting me have weekly girl nights with my friends. Thank you for being a worthy priesthood holder in our home and family. Thank you for going to school and getting an education and working towards a career so you can support the family so I can stay home with our beautiful kids. Thank you for being such a hard worker at work, home, and in your calling. Thank you for always taking care of me and the kids when we are sick or just plain tired. Thank you for making me laugh and smile each and every day. Thank you for making me miss you everyday when you are not with me. Thank you for putting up with mine and the kids craziness because I know that is a job in itself. Thank you for being the best husband and father anyone could ask for. Brandon I love you with all my heart and I grow in love with you more everyday. You are amazing and I am truly blessed. I know this sounds more like an Anniversary post, but there will be more for me to say for our Anniversary on the 30th of this month. Babe I love you!!
