Pumpkin Patch

For one of Sydnee's preschool field trips we went to a local corn maze and pumpkin patch. Sydnee and Dawson LOVED it, they couldn't stop smiling and laughing. Dawson was being so silly that day running through the corn maze looking for Sydnee. He would always being yelling "Sydnee where are you?", "Sydnee wait for mine!" And yes instead of say "Me" he says "mine" and I think it is so cute. I just can't believe and that he is talking in mostly complete sentences. They grow up WAY TOO FAST! We had so much fun and I loved all their smiles in these pictures.

MATOR!!!

In August sometime we decided to be an adventerous family and drive the 8 hour trip to see Brandon's brother and his wife in Blanding Utah. It was a blast and way too short, but we are so glad that we went down there to see them. We sure do miss them. On the way back home that Sunday we were driving thru a small little town and saw Mator from the movie cars. We had to stop and take pictures especially since Dawson loves that movie and loves anything with wheels. The kids thought it was pretty cool and Sydnee really wanted Mator to talk back to her. She was bummed, but used her imagination anyway.

Shoshone Falls

On our way to our Nebeker Family Reunion in Hagerman back in June, my amazing sister and her family and us stopped by Shoshone Falls and had lunch. It was so beautiful and there was so much water. The kids loved it. Sorry that Brandon was kind of cut off in these pictures, but they were taken with his phone so not the best, but keepers.

Hiking and Celebrating birthdays

Back in May of this year (yes I am WAY behind) we decided to go for a little hike. It was perfect for a family hike especially with young kids because it was paved, beautiful, and not too long. We had a nice little picnic and then came home so all of us could take naps. The kids loved it and it was the perfect weather and family outing. Another great thing is it is only minutes from our apartment. we will defiantly go there again when it starts to warm up.

so Dawson's birthday was back in July and I am such a huge slacker. I feel like a horrible mother, but I do remember that I was not feeling well that day due to this pregnancy so we didn't do much. It still was a fun day and even though he really didn't know that we were celebrating his 2nd birthday he sure loved his presents.

Now on to Sydnee's birthday. She turned 4 in August and knew very well that it was her day. She was so cute and loved all the attention on her. We didn't do big party's for either of our kids this year becuase I was still not feeling well due to the pregnancy so we kind of just kept it low key, but the kids didn't care and they had a blast. Speaking of birthdays, mine was in May and Brandon's was in June and we did nothing. I felt like a horrible wife, but I was so sick that I couldn't even leave the house afraid that I would get sick where ever we went. It was however our 5th year anniversary this June and that day I actually felt ok so Brandon and I went out to eat and then went grocery shopping without children. I know way lame, but it was time well spent with my amazing one and only. Love ya babe!

Almost forgot

These are the ties that I made for Dawson. He was in desperate need of church attire so I made so way cute ties. I also made some way cute onsies for a friends babyshower, but I totally forgot to take pictures so I am very mad at myself. Oh well maybe she wouldn't mind me going to her house to try and grab a picture. We'll see. Anywho good night!

I love my kids!!

This was the only picture that we could get of Dawson in his Easter outfit, I made his tie to match Syd's color of dress and even though he didn't want a picture he looked so handsome in his sunday outfit. Silly boy.

These kiddos crack me up. They can be so sweet with each other one minute and then fight like crazy the next, but atleast they love each other. They especially love seeing each other in the mornings and when they wake up from naps. It's so sweet when they get so excited to see each other. I love my kids so much even when they drive me crazy and times I wouldn't have it any other way. There is alot more to tell about our family, but it is getting way too late for this mommy who gets up at 5:30 almost every morning, so I'm going to call it a night and I will do better on this blog darn it. I have to so don't give up on me!!

Girls Rock!

Oh my sweet Sydnee. She is getting so big and so smart. She makes us laugh everyday, with all her crazy dancing all the funny things she says, and the way she and Dawson play together. Syd loves going outside to ride her bike and go hiking at the park with all the rocks. She loves preschool and her teacher is amazing and helps her so much. She is still in speech therapy and is improving, but they are still trying to correct the way she says somethings because she heard words said wrong for so long before she got tubes in her ears, but she is defianltly improving. She dances and sings ALL THE TIME and I love it because it gives me an excuse to join right in with her. She is such a good little girl. We do have some issues with her, but she is getting so much better with her little tantrums that she was known to throw at times. She is all girl that's for sure. She loves anything princess and especially Rapunzal from Tangled. She loves to give hugs and kisses which I can't get enough of. Sydnee is really a sweet little girl and we are so grateful for her sweet little spirit in our home.

Syd in her Easter dress that she can twirl and do all the dancing her little heart desires.

Syd was being silly and really wanted me to take pictures of her so I did and I am so glad that I did because she was so funny and so darn cute!

Daddy wanted to teach Syd how to shoot a gun and she loved it! I guess it's never too early to start in this family,

Yah for boys!

Dawson is getting way to big for being our baby. He is actually still not that big in weight considering he only weighs 23 pounds and is a little short stack, but he thinks he is so big. He talks really well for being 21 months. He says: bike, I silly, that funny, Syd (for Sydnee), doggy, Yeah, uh uh for no, ouchy, mommy, mom, daddy, dad, sorry, where my mommy, my mommy, toy, bed, binky, look, please, mine, yuck, duck, ok, blanket, why, bad guy (which he learned from his sister), this, "tank you" for thank you, "here go" for here you go, hey, outside, baby, he loves to bark like and dog and act like one which way too cute, I know he says a few more words, but it's way too late to remember all of them. He is so sweet to babies and wants to give all babies hugs and kisses and tries to hold them. He loves and adores his uncles and aunts. He doesn't really understand other's personal space, but luckily most people don't mind. He is defiantly our cuddle bug. He is so silly and lets everyone know it. People can't get enough of how cute he really is. He is although going through the separation anxiety stage right now and that isn't always fun for nursery, but he usually stops crying after a couple of minutes after we leave. He is such a mommy's boy and sometimes I love it and other times I need a break from it, but good thing he absolutely loves his daddy too. Dawson is also obsessed with cars. He has to have some type of car with at all time. He sleeps, eats, and even bathes with his cars. He is so funny and particular with his cars and where and how he puts them. If you move his cars from the way he had them he lets you know by yelling and you saying "Hey no" and his eyes are so expressive when he gets mad. He cracks us up. I just can't believe that our baby will be two in July. We love him so much and he brings us so much joy in our lives.

WE started putting Dawson in time out a few months ago and he does pretty well with it. He crys, but he stays in there until he is happy and stops crying then he'll come out on his own and then he comes up to us and says sorry. It's hilarious when he is time out because he looks to small and sad. But it makes us laugh.

WE put Dawson in a twin bed when he turned 17 months. I know that sounds early, but he refused to sleep in his crib, so we took it down so we could have more space and he loves his bed. He has only fallen off of it twice so he does pretty good. He sleeps so much better in it then he did in his crib. What a funny kid.

Soda Springs!!!

In January some of my most amazing friends and I went to Soda Springs where one of my friends grew up for a girl overnighter. It was a much needed and energizing time. When we first got there Ashley took us to see and try the natural springs that we could drink from and we also brought some back to the house and put some crystal light in it and it was divine. So good! We also went to see the only man made geyser in Idaho. It went off I believe every hour and was actually really cool and went pretty high. After all the excitment on the tour we went back to the house and had an amazing dinner and then went off to lava hot springs, which felt amazing on the body. We then came back and stayed up way too late playing awesome and fun games and watching a movie. It was an amazing time spending it with some very special women in my life. Thank you too all you fantastic women who made that weekend unforgettable. Thank you to our husbands for taking care of our children and letting us getting a way for a few hours. WE love you all!!
