Random and a blessing

Dawson is such a sweet and happy little guy. He smiles whenever we walk in the room and he us doing really good on responding when we say his name. He will turn to us and try and find us. We love him SO SO SO much and are so grateful for the spirit he brings into our home!

Another picture of Dawson's blessing day. I loved his blessing outfit. My mom got it for him and he looked so handsome in it. Thanks Mom!! I am still waiting for my five generation picture with Dawson, but hopefully for not much longer.

Just a fun picture of Syd back when it was still warm. She loves her sun glasses and whenever she sees me put mine on she has to have hers on. Silly girl!

Brandon and his other love

Brandon got his buck and he is so proud of himself. I am really proud of him too because it was a pretty good size and it was fat old buck too. He has been looking at his pictures every night. It's pretty cute. We had to go and buy a chest freezer because we had no room in our freezer in the house so now we have one out in the garage and can I just say that it is such a good feeling to have plenty of hamburger. We had some last night and it's a little gamie, but really not too bad. Just put seasoning in it and your good to go. Babe I am so proud of you!

A beautiful day for a Blessing!

This last Sunday we had our amazing families come and celebrate the Blessing of our sweet and handsome little boy, Dawson. It was a beautiful and spiritual day. Brandon did an amazing job with the blessing and we loved having so many of our family there. Dawson was so good the whole day. He was awake during the blessing, but fell asleep right when I started to hold him after. I am so sad though because we took some really good pictures outside of the church with my parents, Brandon's parents, and a five generations picture with us and Dawson in his way cute blessing outfit (thanks mom, but they are all on my parents camera and Brandon's parents camera so those will be coming soon I hope! Some of these are fun picture and some are serious. Two of them are of five generations for my sister and my brother. It's pretty amazing to me that I can say there is five generations on my side of the family. Pretty cool huh? Well hope you enjoy and please don't think bad of me for not loosing my baby weight yet. j/k I am working on it! :o)

Daiper Cake and butterfly kisses

The first two pictures are of a diaper cake that I made for an amazing friend of mine. I thought it turned out pretty cute, but I was so bummed because I thought I bought diapers that were just white, but know they had green on them. Oh well she loved it and I loved making it. The last picture if just a sweet picture of Sydnee giving such a sweet gentle kiss to Dawson. So sweet!

Can't get enough of each other

Sydnee absolutly loves her little brother and I can already tell that Dawson loves her. The other morning I was getting ready and I had High School Musical 3 on because when Sydnee says "I wanna dance, I wanna dance!" that means she wants to watch that movie. Anyway she was having a good ole' time dancing and had some pretty good dance moves. Well all of a sudden I heard Dawson squealing and laughing. He was in his bouncer seat watching her dance and he thought it was hilarious. It was so precious and cute, but when I got the camera out to video it they both stopped. Oh well I knew that was going to happen so oh well. Dawson is such a happy little baby. He is really happy in the mornings when I bring him into our bed to feed him he just coos and smiles at me and it is so much fun talking back at him. We had his 2 month appointment on the 23rd of September and he weighed 12 1/2 pounds. He is getting so big and he moves around ALL THE TIME! He is constantly moving his legs and arms and looking around. That is exactly how he was when I was pregnant with him. So I have a feeling that we are going to have another wild one on our hands. It's going to be FUN! Sydnee is getting so good with him. She is constantly giving him really good soft kisses and makes sure he has his binky (even when he doesn't need or want it) When ever he gets fussy she says "OH, you ok?" in a really hi pitched voice. It's so cute. She makes sure his diaper is changed and that he has a blanket on him at all times. She helps me by giving me diapers, wipes, and birp rags. She is getting so big and is such a big helper. I love having two kids that are so much fun and so sweet with eachother. Here are just a few pictures of them together so happy and playing good.

Sleeping than cleaning than relaxing

Dawson in his swing that we are borrowing from our friend and neighbor. I love it and I am so grateful for it because I can just put Dawson in there and he will go to sleep right away. I love how he has arm and hand under his double chin.

Syd loves to help me clean which makes it kind of difficult sometimes because she thinks she is helping, but she is just spreading the dirt around some more. But you know what atleast she is learning that cleaning is good and she is learning how to clean. she is a pretty good helper and she is a cute helper.

Syd relaxing after a long day of playing and sleeping and kissing Dawson. What a hard life she has! :o)

Potty Training excitement and Potty Training woes

When Sydnee started to get close to 18 months she started to show a lot of interest with potty training, so I decided it was time to buy her a toilet and panties and have her sit on the potty when I was using the restroom. She started to do really well and pretty much started to potty train herself. She would go in there, take off her diaper and pants and go. I thought "Wow I don't have to do anything, she is doing awesome by herself" I would ask her every half hour or so and she would run in there all by herself. She was doing so well and I was so proud of her. Well then Dawson was born and bye bye potty training. We still ask her to go and take her into the bathroom and she screams and refuses to sit down on the toilet. Every once in awhile she will go potty and when she does she gets a sucker and a huge "GREAT JOB SYDNEE!!!" from mom and dad. I know she can go and she knows what she is doing and supposed to do. I guess we just need to be bigger sicklers about it to her. Wish us luck on trying again.

When Sydnee does go to the potty she is so proud of herself and she looks in her potty and says "I poo I poo!!" It's so cute and fun when she actually goes.

Diaper and Towel Cakes

At the beginning of this summer I made a diaper cake for a friend that was having a boy. It was so much and pretty easy considering it was the second one that I have ever made. I thought it turned out pretty cute. One of my amazing friends also got married this summer. As I was racking my brain on what I should get her I came up with the idea to make her a towel cake. I imagined it to be plumper and a little bigger, but oh well I think it didn't turn too bad.
