Happy Birthday B!! The Big and Old 24!!!

[Photo] So I know that I am a little a lot late, but atleast I am posting these, finally. For Brandon's B-day I woke up early and made him stay in bed so I could get his presents ready and decorate a little for him. When I actually got done I had to drag him out of bed because he was being a baby and said he was too tired to celebrate his birthday. Poor poor Brandon. Anyway, I got suprised him with he favorite TV Series "Scrubs" and his favorite gummy bears. (Sorry Bekah I kind of copied you on that one). He was so excited about the "Scrubs" and so suprised that for weeks that was all we watched. While we were watching them and laughing he kept leaning over to me saying "I love you so much for getting me these, you are so awesome!" Well atleast he loves me for something right? ;o) Oh and he also wouldn't let me take down the decorations because he wanted everybody to see how sweet I was to make that for him. I had Brandon make his dad a Father's Days card so that it meant more to him. Of course I helped him just a little, but didn't he do such an awesome job? I was so proud of him and as you can tell he was proud to so he took a picture :o)

I have honestly been trying to put new pictures on here for a very long time, but everytime I tried my internet would kick me off and then I would forget to try again. Our Sleeping Beauty

A couple of weekends ago we went to Logan, Utah to one of my greatest friends wedding (Congrats Jodi!!) Anyway, the whole way down there Sydnee did not sleep and she got to bed late everynight there. On the way back on Sunday she slept maybe an hour. When we got back we went to some friend's house to have dinner. We knew she was exhausted, because as soon as we got into the car to go home at 7:00 she fell asleep for the whole 15 minute trip home. Can someone explain to me why she can't falls asleep for a 3 hour drive, but she does for a 15 minute drive? She does look cute when she's sleeping though!!

Instead of using a regular baby spoon, Brandon decided to switch things up a little and use a HUGE PLASTIC SPOON!! Yeah I know my husband thinks he is so funny, what a dork! :o) Just kidding I love him no matter how crazy he is!
This is the very big and very cute bow that Aunt Bekah made. I know it is a little big for Sydnee now, but she sure made a cute model. Bekah you are amazing!! I am so glad to have you so close by so I can use all you awesome ideas and cute stuff!! Thanks!!

Sydnee absolutly loves the little boy that I babysit. She gets more excited when he walks in the room then when Brandon or I do. He will be 3 in August so he is almost exactly 2 years older then Syd is. So watch out Landon, she's comin after you when you 18 years! Yikes!! :o)

I was just a phase!!

It was just a phase!!! So I'm really sorry for not posting anything so such a long time, but life has been crazy. Our internet hasn't been working as well as we would like it to either, but that is the fact of life, right? Well a couple of posts ago I vented about how Sydnee wouldn't sit up anymore and how she would just throw herself back everytime we sat her down on the ground. (It was not fun at all) Well, I am proud to say that phase is over, for now. She is happily sitting up on her own again for close to a month now. YAH YAH YAH!!!! She has also cut her first tooth!!! Well kind of. I see it and I can feel it now. She woke up last night around 11:00 just screaming, so I went to go get her thinking that she was hungry. After I fed her I took her to her bed like always, put her down and she started to scream again. That is not like her. I picked her up and cuddled with her a little and then put her down again. She started to scream again. I picked her up and then felt her gums because her teeth have been teases her and us for months now. As soon as I felt it she calmed right down and went to sleep. Yes, I felt a hard tooth!! I was so excited that I crawled back into bed and woke Brandon up to tell him that I think Sydnee's tooth finally broke through. He of course just moaned and mumbled something that sounded like "goob" but I'm pretty sure he meant "good". It was kind of cute. I just hope that the whole teething process gets easier from here on out.
