Sleeping than cleaning than relaxing

Dawson in his swing that we are borrowing from our friend and neighbor. I love it and I am so grateful for it because I can just put Dawson in there and he will go to sleep right away. I love how he has arm and hand under his double chin.

Syd loves to help me clean which makes it kind of difficult sometimes because she thinks she is helping, but she is just spreading the dirt around some more. But you know what atleast she is learning that cleaning is good and she is learning how to clean. she is a pretty good helper and she is a cute helper.

Syd relaxing after a long day of playing and sleeping and kissing Dawson. What a hard life she has! :o)

Potty Training excitement and Potty Training woes

When Sydnee started to get close to 18 months she started to show a lot of interest with potty training, so I decided it was time to buy her a toilet and panties and have her sit on the potty when I was using the restroom. She started to do really well and pretty much started to potty train herself. She would go in there, take off her diaper and pants and go. I thought "Wow I don't have to do anything, she is doing awesome by herself" I would ask her every half hour or so and she would run in there all by herself. She was doing so well and I was so proud of her. Well then Dawson was born and bye bye potty training. We still ask her to go and take her into the bathroom and she screams and refuses to sit down on the toilet. Every once in awhile she will go potty and when she does she gets a sucker and a huge "GREAT JOB SYDNEE!!!" from mom and dad. I know she can go and she knows what she is doing and supposed to do. I guess we just need to be bigger sicklers about it to her. Wish us luck on trying again.

When Sydnee does go to the potty she is so proud of herself and she looks in her potty and says "I poo I poo!!" It's so cute and fun when she actually goes.

Diaper and Towel Cakes

At the beginning of this summer I made a diaper cake for a friend that was having a boy. It was so much and pretty easy considering it was the second one that I have ever made. I thought it turned out pretty cute. One of my amazing friends also got married this summer. As I was racking my brain on what I should get her I came up with the idea to make her a towel cake. I imagined it to be plumper and a little bigger, but oh well I think it didn't turn too bad.

Nebeker Reunion 2009

Since my side of the family is growing like crazy we decided to start having our own reunions. I know that when I was younger I remember that I loved going to my family reunions and playing with all my cousins close to my age and seeing everyone old and everyone new. I am so excited that we are starting this. This year we went to Vernal Utah because Kolby was working down there at the time and his family was in charge of it. It was tons of fun considering I was very huge and pregnant and we went camping. I loved seeing everyone. My amazing sister-in-law Julie took charge of taking some awesome pictures and sent everyone a cd of the pictures she took. She is very talented. Thank you Julie for all the hard work you put into the cd. I hope you all enjoy a few of the pictures. I have tons more, but that would take way too long to post all of them, but here a few.

Random fun pictures

Sydnee cracks me up. She thinks she is such a big girl. She loves to sit in Dawson's carseat and rock her baby like I love to rock her and Dawson. She sits in there and says "Oh baby, night, night." and than gives her baby a huge kiss. I guess we're doing something right when she is so sweet with her baby.
Syd is such a mimmicker. She daily grabs a bag of some sort, grabs her keys and cell phone, and says "bye, bye love you" and gives Dawson and I a big kiss. Then goes to the door and repeats it over and over. Hey whatever keeps her happy and busy I can handle.

What more can I say? I have a dang cute family!

Sydnee's 2nd Birthday

I can't believe I have a 2 year old. I don't feel old enough to have a 2 year old a little baby. Crazy!! But I wouldn't change it for anything. Being a mom is an amazing blessing!
